On Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010 the San Francisco Planning Commission met to certify the work proposed for the Crystal Springs Pipeline No. 2 Replacement Project (CSPL2).
Pipeline work will occur in unincorporated areas of San Mateo County, Hillsborough, Burlingame, Millbrae, San Bruno, South San Francisco, Daly City and Brisbane.
At this time the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is working closely with city staff members to ensure inconveniences are minimized and communication initiatives are carefully planned for.
In the meantime, the CSPL2 communication liaison has been working closely with school districts, business groups and other directly impacted residents and businesses to prepare and ready specific community members prior to work. Construction is slated to begin in spring 2011.
