5-Day De-Watering Activity Near El Camino Real & Ralston Creek in Burlingame

On Wednesday, Dec. 14, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission field crews will work with the City of Burlingame's Public Works Department and Ranger Pipelines, Inc., on this five-day de-watering activity as part of the CSPL2 replacement project.

Nearby residents and El Camino Real motorists may notice a significant amount of water emptying into the city's storm water outlets over the next five days, over a 24-hour span.

This process will require the SFPUC to empty water from the regional water main into the City of Burlingame's sanitary sewer. It will eventually empty into Ralston Creek in Burlingame.

An environmental monitor will be monitoring this work, especially along the creek area.

If rain is expected, this process will be terminated and rescheduled.

Your water service will not be interrupted as a result of this work.
