Starting Monday, September 17 Crystal Springs Road, from Polhemus Road to Skyline Blvd. (Highway 35), will be closed for construction work. The road closure will be in effect through Friday, September 21. This short-term road closure is necessary as we improve your regional water delivery system, and will ensure the safety of the residents, motorists and bicyclists who use this roadway.
The road is closed to motorists for 5 consecutive days, 24 hours a day, during this critical construction phase. Cyclists and runners only will have thru access on Crystal Springs Road during this road closure. This thru access to cyclists and runners will only be allowed from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Please note the Black Mountain Road exit is the only way to reach the southern trailhead of Sawyer Camp Trail from Hwy 280 during the 5-day road closure.
Detour Map for Motorists:
From Hayne Road/Golf Course Drive:
· Use 280 South to Bunker Hill Dr.
· Exit Bunker Hill Dr., continue East to Polhemus Road
· Turn left on Polhemus Road
From Polhemus Road:
· Go South on Polhemus Road
· Turn right (West) on Bunker Hill Dr.
· Take 280 North to Hayne/Black Mountain Exit
