Upcoming Construction Activities
Starting Monday, April 2, construction work to replace segments of CSPL2 in Daly City will begin. This work will be located along Main Street (between the Brisbane and Daly City border). Other work areas are located adjacent to the San Mateo County Housing Authority office and inside the PG&E Martin Service Station property.
Crews will excavate parts of Main Street and prepare the work area for pipeline installation. Additionally, all construction work within the PG&E Martin Service Station will be monitored carefully by environmentally-certified inspectors each day.
In order for this work to be completed quickly and safely, traffic control measures and detours will be in place. Detour signs and flaggers will direct local traffic along Main Street during work hours, as needed. At the end of the day, the work area will be covered by steel plates.
Residents with driveways along Main Street should anticipate delays and detours. Parking will not be permitted on the streets near work areas. Please look out for the No Parking signs for details about acceptable parking hours.
Your water service will not be interrupted, and the contractor will abide by the local city noise ordinance.
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
